I’ve never been more excited to review a product. I wasn’t sure what to expect but I’m impressed. The items paired quickly to both cell phones and were able to quickly download maps. I put my phone on airplane mode and watched the messages go through, just to test it out. Will def be using on my next trip overseas.

These are so awesome! The design is compact and sleek – about the size of a small candy bar – and with an adjustable strap so that you can attach it to anything. Setting them up was a breeze the app is free to download and takes about 45 seconds to configure. I’m someone who values privacy and security so I really appreciate the job that goTenna has done to preserve these options for their users.

Fantastic way to keep in touch and incredibly easy to set up!

Great product and super light! I brought these on a quick weekend road trip to Canada with a couple friends. We were able to message/stay in touch without having to worry about roaming charges. It was also a lot of fun to send location pins from the Canadian side of Niagara Falls over to the US side– “Where are you?” *gets location* “Canada.” It really helped us keep tabs on where everyone was. Really excited to take them out on a larger adventure! They’re also incredibly easy to use and set up– the app has a very clear, step by step, account creation. I already got another pair for my Mom to use when she travels. Truly a mighty little device!

Very easy to use, being able to download offline maps is very handy. Texting is awesome however I think the best feature is being able to share your location on a map and others can see where you are in relation to them. Came in very handy hiking this weekend.

I was skeptical about how much I would use Mesh, but I picked it up before traveling to Europe last month and it saved me when I was trying to contact my friends and my service plan was glitchy. Generally, I feel like it’s a great backup and – since more of my friends are now buying the device – I carry it everywhere in my bag as a backup. I’m thinking of getting another pair to use as stationary nodes for our upcoming ski trip to make sure my family can always reach one another on the hill. Anyway, the delivery confirmations are very reassuring and the app in general is easy to use! Highly recommended!

Major improvement over the original goTenna

I bought the first gen because I wanted my kids to be able to text me with their iPods without paying for cell or internet services. They still work great! Messages in my family’s chat are encrypted and very user friendly. If we leave the goTenna on, and a phone dies, it will save the messages until we re-connect to it via bluetooth.

These are awesome. Was a happy owner of the first generation product, but these are more stylish and the new mesh feature is super exciting — really the stuff of the future. So cool to see my little node get added to the thousands of others on their network map (go to the “imeshyou” site to take a look). My parents and brother both also bought a pair so we can use them next time we’re traveling together.

… a fan of the first product and I’m in LOVE with the new MESH

I was a fan of the first product and I’m in LOVE with the new MESH! Love the new design – it’s smaller and really easy to use. Also love that we can use the new devices to extend our reach with the meshing capabilities! We’re using it at this time of year for staying in contact while we snow-shoe (great for knowing where everyone in the family is) and skiing. We have a cruise trip planned for the Caribbean coming up and we plan to use it on the ship and off. Looking forward to warmer days when we use it during hiking and fishing season.
